Her information was from the "The Jenks Family of America" and on page 1, found in the Genealogical Dictionary of New England, by Joseph Savage on p. 543 Joseph Jenks,Lynn (MA), 1645, blacksmith, employ at the iron works and came from Hammersmith or Hounslow or Colnbrook, in the edge of Bucks, near London. I am using the information on Joseph's wives from The Register Vol 9. page 201 printed over 100 years ago. Joseph JR. was probably from his wife in England. Bob Jenks and Carolyn Gates kindly pointed out some newer and more accurate information than the references from above.

Notes for NANCY JANE JENKS: Bob Jenks pointed out some previous errors and told me to review : "The Jenks Ancestry" by Browne 1952 I pulled out the old folder of Florence Trzepacz and low and behold copies of pages pertaining to the above book. Also the original Family Register of Asaneth and Otis Jenks that had to be shown to the Pension Records of 1913. Civil War Pension was being sought by one of the children that fought in that war. This document has an issue date of 1848 and was put out by Currier and Ives. It is tattered but the colors are still fresh in the scenes on the top of this document.

Notes for EMMA LOUISE PIERCE: Emma died due to internal injuries, due to being struck by a car driven by Richard Suprenant, Emma was waiting for a bus near the front of her house. She and her husband had celebrated the golden anniversary the year before. Emma was on her way to a meeting of Kelhoochun council, Degree of Pochantas. It was said Emma went out into the street thinking the oncoming vehicle was the bus. She died at the scene, instantly.
